On the Cheap

I was a Jo Ann's the other day gathering a few crafty supplies when my two-year-old started getting into the merchandise. Usually I would be really upset with her tossing craft items into the aisles and running away with stuff, but this time I was pretty proud of her discovery- clearance iron-ons! I let her keep them with her, which satisfied us both. Now we can enjoy all those plain white onesies I have lying around. Our new little one is going to be so cute in these new digs!
They came in sets of two:
A is for Apple
B is for Bear,

C is for Cat
D is for Dog,
and
E is for Elephant
F is for Frog

Each for a whopping FIFTY CENTS. That is $.25 a transfer. Woo woo!
My usual method of applique just isn't on my list right now due to having a new baby and moving all at the same time, so this was just the solution. I started with two because, well, I have packing to do :). I think I'll save one set for a larger size onesie too.

My daughter was trying to get in this shot while eating a mouthful of saltine crackers. She added some of her crumb collection right on the B is for BEAR one. Thanks, sweetie.
