Alas, even with the fun of a potty-party, there is always a mess to deal with. Is this a familiar sight?

An excuse for a party...
My munchkin is now potty-trained. And to celebrate this momentous occasion, we had a "potty-party." I only decorated our itty-bitty dining area but it was fun. It was an excuse to use my pink fabric with the white polka dots as a table cloth (2 yards, barely enough to hang over the edges!) and also to use Char's tutorial for a fabric-covered party hat. It was a fun event, with streamers, balloons, finger foods, cupcakes, chips and dip, and even princess party bags. I was going to do some sort of potty-training game like "Pin the potty in the toilet" or something but I didn't have time to come up with something truly thrilling. We invited my niece who is the same age as my girl who is slowly making her way in the potty-training world, and I think we got the point across that it is a great accomplishment!

Alas, even with the fun of a potty-party, there is always a mess to deal with. Is this a familiar sight?
