A Tweet Thank You

I think I've taken a sufficient break from regular blogging. All holidays are behind us now, so I can get my life back to normal!

With a new year comes new resolutions. Our family resolution is to clean the apartment every night before we go to bed so we wake up to cleanliness. That lasts about 10 minutes. But it feels soooo good! My personal resolution is to actually send out Thank You cards to people. I am the worst person in history when it comes to that. I only sent out half of our thank you cards for wedding gifts. That was nearly 5 years ago. So you see that I'm not the best!

I saw this idea on Make and Takes last year and thought it would be an easy way to make thank you cards. Or any card, for that matter.
I didn't use all 6 strands of DMC floss on this go-round but I will next time. I think it would look a lot better. I also didn't mount it on a card because... I didn't have any lying around. But I think it is still good as a flat card! :) It didn't take long (although next time I won't punch my holes so close together... makes for more stitching!) and had a cute end result.

Give it a try!

  3. I didn't send out ANY of my wedding thank you cards. So you're two times better than me.
