Baby Doll Accessories

I've been under the weather, so to say, these past few days. Today I am being waited on by my mom at her house... now what is nicer than that? I was lying on the couch and glanced over at some of the kid toys... and realized I never shared this goodness with you!

I scored this cute little baby cradle at a garage sale for $1. My dad painted it white (it was a shabby chic sort of look before, and we all know that isn't my style!) and reinforced the legs with some L brackets, and voila, a nice baby cradle!!

The cradle also came with a mattress and pillow. Both were made with ticking, stuffed with stuffing, and covered. Whoever made this was into details- look at the decorative stitching on the pillowcase!

After making this quilt, I had a few small 1 1/2" strips of fabric left over. Since the cradle was all spiffy, I needed to make a little quilt that matched. I just gathered some scraps and whipped this guy up. It is a perfect fit and the little girls love playing with their dolls at grandma's house now!
Have a good one. I think it is time for a little more ibuprofen for me!!
